It may have been around the 25/6 mark in the sun on concrete down here but in the shade or on concrete not protected it was no more than 22/3. It looked so much better than it was. It must be because of the height we're at. I was sitting in the car, in the sun waiting for First Born in a shopping car park and wished I had a warmer jumper on. K was out weeding most of the day and he wasn't burning up or even particularly hot. Your garden must be well protected wind wise.
Earlier today it was showing 30. The thermo's are on the wall, head height, and at least 10' in from the sun.
Both me and Nic got embarrassingly burnt yesterday, but fell for that old one ... the wind! ... and altho we're in a slight dip off the main road, we get breezes when needed. We went thru the last summer without using the bedroom air con as we got a decent thru air and all good ...
Anyway, a few websites stated 22C for my suburb, and one even had a 'current' temp at the time I took pics of about 23C, but I had 30C.
To be honest as you can see i'm a bit anal with temps, but at the same time my garden (wherever) is ALWAYS warmer than the 'advertised' temps for that day. Mostly only by a few C's, but sometimes more.
I reckon it was closer to 30 than 22 today for sure! ... both days, but I only got a reading of 27C yesterday.
Been bloody lovely tho, not seen a cloud for 2 days and talk is tomorrow the same ...

I reckon the weather forecast tells lies. It's always 2 degrees cooler than my thermometers say it is. Unless it's less than 10, then the official temp is higher. Can all of mine and the neighbours be wrong?

20 degrees to so far, set to be 23, sun splitting the trees and I'm off work! YAYYYYY!!! (I wonder will I get away with a full week off work, the joys of being a relief teacher!)
