Till tomorrow!

I've been here 4.5 years now and altho seen some lovely storms at night, apparently i'm yet to see a proper summer.

The proper summer was hideous 2002/3 ish?? OMG It got hot around October and work diaries record it finally cooled down in May, I can remember the pool being at 38C and we had a house with a top level and it was 46 up there one day, the worst day, kids teacher said it was 44C in the classroom. Most of that summer was more mid 30's but the humidity!!. Never seen a summer like it again, but the way this year is shaping up I reckon we might

29.1 at 2:30 pm still.

Been out driving today and it was really cooking. Didn't bother with aircon, just the windows open.

Might go for a dip later if the pool temp has improved.

It hit a high of 26.2°C around us today, feels like the hottest day so far.

I just checked on http://www.rabybay.org and it says:
Hottest Day of the year was 30.7°C 14:27 Jan 28 2010

So today was only 4.5 degrees under the hottest day. I thought it felt warm.

I think it was about 24/5 here today, humidity was up but nothing major. Our usual micro climate happened. Huge major rain fall at the bottom of the hill, school oval flooded but not even a sniff of rain up here and it's an 8 minute drive straight down hill.
