Was cooking a bit today. 34 but house is nice and cool. Not that I am in there much. Sitting outside mostly.

Can't get in the pool until about 2:30 so it's very warm.

Got back from a week away last night and it was thick snow and -7 and one of the house plants - in the house - had frozen.

Had the biggest, loudest storm at 3:30 this morning. The tiles were rattling and it was like daylight through heavy curtains. The husband and a daughter slept through it. Absolutely no idea how! Now it's seriously bloody humid. Storms are supposed to clear the the air, not make it worse!

13 degrees and wet, wet, wet.

Left work early on Friday because the highway to my house was under threat of washing out (which it ultimately did).

Bridge collapsed in my region yesterday from water, and roads have been buckling under the weight of 1 meter of water.

What a big country we live in, where we can have such extremes from one side to the other.
