What's Stanmore (Sydney) like?
Hi,
Apologies if this is in the wrong place, it's my first time starting a new thread.
I'm moving to Stanmore in Sydney in about a fortnight's time and was wondering what it's like? Is there anything there? Any opinions / info welcomed!

My hubby works in Stanmore. He says there is an IGA (small supermarket, co-op style), a few hairdressers, a few bottlos, a railway station, and a couple of schools...
... oh yes he also told me there was a "good topless bar" there...
Me (suspiciously): how do you know it was "good"?
Him: I meant "good sized topless bar"
Me (even more suspiciously): first you say it's "good" now how would you know what the sizes are like?
Him: I meant shop size
Me: hmmm (a la Marge Simpson)
