What's that... OMG, LOOK OUT!!
I've been in Aus now for 10 months and I have encountered a bewildering array of road bound obstacles during my travels to and from work each day. I ride a motorcycle and in most cases the afore mentioned obstacles might well have lead to me being involved in a hideous accident I thought then about the things I've had to avoid so far and decided it might be nice to see what everyone else has had to miss.... or not if you're not as lucky as me! My tally thus far is:
2 x suitcases
2 x aluminium ladders
2 x garden spades
1 x garden rake
Insulation batts
A bundle of Ray White 'for sale' signs
At least 5 sheets of plaster-board
Several paint tins and trays
Too many carboard boxes to mention
Enough palm fronds to thatch a Bali hut
2 x suitcases
2 x aluminium ladders
2 x garden spades
1 x garden rake
Insulation batts
A bundle of Ray White 'for sale' signs
At least 5 sheets of plaster-board

It's all the open top utes that are the problem for this.
I always wondered why I would see so much tyre debris all over the roads when I first got here. Now it is clear it is because of the amount of shit that falls off the back of utes.

I had someone throwing clothes at me on the M1 about 15 years ago... There are some very strange people around.

Don't forget the shoes. And it always seems to be just one, but not a pair. I wonder how someone loses a single shoe on the freeway in their travels.

On the way near Dingo Beach Queensland we saw a collection of monkey teddy bears hanging in the tree
also on the way near Hay Point Queensland there was a collection of about 30 thongs in the middle of a junction but like hubby said they where all odd ones
Quite a few dead animals as well

What? No mattresses? I can't even remember how many I have seen on roads in QLD. I once drove right over one. Luckily for me it was a Sealy Posturepaedic so my suspension didn't kark it. I did fall asleep at the wheel though
