Hi

If you do a search on Mornington on this forum you will find tons and tons of threads about it.

Also try asking on Britvics which is a site for British people living in Victoria.

Cheers

Buzzy

Talking Re: whats mornington like

I have family living at Mount Eliza, we went to Mornington loads when we went last year for a month. The shopkeepers are all really friendly on the main street, lots were English and had been there years. There are some nice restraunts and a great pub that we went to with the kids. Our relatives said that it is packed in the summer with groups on and it served some good cheap food too also right opposite the beach.
I have heard that the schools in the area are good, although they don't have ofted reports like U.K.
There is a big B&Q like store called Bunnings and Mc D's, Pizza Hut and Frankston for shopping only 10-15 mins in a car (only saw school buses )
If you type 'Mornington' into the search button at the top someone else asked about Mornington and it should bring up those threads.
Going again in 5 weeks (who's counting!) so if you need any info I'll see what I can do....
J

Sorry I type too slow! Buzzy just said it faster

I stayed in a good caravan park "big4" in Dromana spent 11 days touring all over Mornington Peninsular. I loved Mornington, a good little street market on Wednesdays. There are quite a few Brits living there now. They commute to the city from Frankston station.
this is the Britvics site.
