Its also the view of some people living in Qld

To the OP - same as anywhere else, it suits some people but not others

I find it pleasantly warm, forward thinking and sophisticated. Must be the company you keep

I will agree this time of year it often is pleasantly warm....but I am dreading the return of 28+ degrees, 90% humidity and getting to woirk feeling drained before you even start.

You been reading peoples blogs ?

I inquired how the weather was outside (he had just come in from lunch) and he said it was like “Baby Bear Porridge”. I gave him an odd look and later he explained that he was refferring to the story of the three bears…implying that the weather wasn’t too hot, or too cold. It was just right. I mean, I got what he was saying afterwards, but…you just can’t go around inventing your own sayings! You just end up sounding silly!

Mate, if your location is still correct I would choose Philip Island over many parts of QLD or indeed VIC any day. It's really not all about the weather, there's loads of failed migration stories of people who moved "for better weather". Apart from the fact that it is the middle of winter, are there any other reasons you would be thinking of leaving Philip Island?

Didn't think moving for penguins was that successful either
