Re: whats this bug??
According to my book its a Bronze Orange Bug.
Its says: Sucks sap from shoots of citrus plants, has become pest of cultivated citrus. Adults and nymphs have corrosive secretion, able to quirt considerable distance:blink: I'd be getting some chemicals;) |

Re: whats this bug??
Hi Stevo, it's called a SULCIVENTRIS.They are slow moving, usually stay at the same spot for a few days. In early summer, Bronze Orange Bugs can be found in a large number on Citrus plants (oranges, lemons and limes etc.), usually with adults and nymphs. They suck sap from young shoots of of the plants. As the nymphs grow larger, they become orange-red in colour. Their body colours change from camouflage colour to warning colour. Bronze Orange Bugs are found in the Brisbane area, Queensland, Australia.
The Bronze Orange Bugs produce stink secretion. Keep your distance Stevo as they have astrong stinky smell and leave brown marking on your clothes . If they mark your skin. It will take afew washes to remove the smell and I'm afraid the brown markings stay on my skin for at least a week. Hope this helps:) Joanne |

Re: whats this bug??
Get some petrol and set the plant alight.
Buggers won't like that. |
