whats with all the anger issues???
 

Being here for just around 10 weeks we have come across rather a lot of angry agressive hard done by ozzies, who like to speak to their employees like crap, treat them like they know nothing and try and con money out of us, just when we think we are past that my OH is confronted today by someone who is off his head on god knows what, very passionate about his land and people , who is well on his way to 7ft and who decides (after beating up his dog) that he wants to kill my OH and he is expected to go into work tomorrow and face it all again!!:(

it's a good job part form all that we love the place........but where are all the laid back ozzies????....without any issues!!:confused:

Ive noticed there seem to be quite a few people here that seem to think its acceptable to be violent towards their dogs.

I saw a guy nearly strangle his dog in Freo last month, Ive always said that only a bastard does that sort of thing.

Oh Weez, I am so sorry to hear that and how terrible about his dog. :( ******* disgusting, it really is. :curse:

How is your OH doing after the confrontation? Was it someone walking by who started things up? Did he talk to his boss about it and make him aware of what happened? Perhaps it is a local, well known character...although that doesn't make things any better or make you feel any better.

At the moment, Sparky hub is pretty isolated from the rest of the outside world and works in a carriage shop with other work mates that all seem good blokes. He's very lucky.

Thanks Izzie, its a guy who lives near to where my OH is building on his own, he was totally out of his head, my OH has been in a few rumbles in his time but he honestly feared for his life the guy was like a possessed monster......cant get hold of boss man but we know he will say go back, i am so worried something bad is going to happen, even the police were concerned for my OH's well being, he just seems to be going from one nightmare job to the next, everytime he thinks its ok something REALLY bad happens:(

If the police are concerned, that would set off alarm bells in my head- def keep trying the boss to explain. I can totally understand your concern. :( Could the boss swap your OH to somewhere else?

The only possible option that might not be bad is that perhaps the guy is so off his head, that he won't remember a thing or your OH...but I don't know.

Hope your OH manages to get hold of his boss soon. What a nightmare.

Like i said the guy was was very passionate about his country , he kept callin my OH white b******d, and saying that it was his sand from his land and my OH and all whites had taken it from him, the cops said they could arrest him for being disorderly but they also said others might come after my Oh, they were armed and ready for trouble and said the guy was so out of it he didin't understand what they were saying to him, they told my Oh to run and call them if the guy comes out again!!!!

It's the last job his boss has for him before xmas, OH has had to go to college tonight to sit in a room for 5 hours learning some crap just to get his licence, i just feel so helpless and sorry for him as things have been so difficult on the job front for him:(:(

Well your DH could probably also make a case for racial harassment if he felt so inclined but it sounds scary in the extreme.

Your poor husband.

My husband saw a group of Aboriginals trying to pick a fight with a couple at Freo station, the police didnt do anything although why I do not know, there was one lady calling a policeman 'white shit' at Perth station and spitting at him, he didnt arrest her either.

Very scary indeed.
