I watched House and Medium tonight, both on channel 10, starting at 8:30pm.

I bought a DVD recorder for my OH, so I can tape stuff while he's at work and he watches it when he gets in from work. There's bugger all on after 11pm (cos everyones in bed ).

If I'm in, I watch Dr Phil and Oprah in the arvo, and the SBS world news bulletin in the evenings. Thats it. Can't abide the adverts, so try and watch as little as possible.

The Bloke has spent the evening watching the Sci Fi channel so loud you could hear it down the street. Then his mum rang up and he put her on loudspeaker, so she was shouting (she doesn't quite get stuff like that), he was shouting over her, and the TV was blaring over the top. I stuck the earphones on and went back to my Cell Block H DVDs, better than todays Aussie TV !!
I remember watching it first in the 1970s wondering why Aus houses looked like UK ones from the 1940s.....now I know

Three kids arriving for holiday on Monday and I am just dreading them watching TV here...the ads It'll be "Aunty, whats XXXXXX" "Go and ask your mother!" for three weeks solid! They'll go home having learnt some very odd words for their age!

T's been off since House finished and we've all headed off to seperate rooms and pc's - not good, so much for a 46inch plasma huh ?? Useful for dvd's granted but not much good for aussie tele

I've been catching up with a few things and folks as hubby2b away at minute working so I can do as I please

Recommend the Chaser's War on Repeats............ hillarious.

Foxtel is a dead loss.......... about 50 odd channels and nothing on (sounds like a Bruce Springsteen song!)

Sport's not bad on Foxtel; we get the odd movie that warrants watching. Benny Hill is okay............ I like watching the Good Night Sweetheart repeats, Property Ladder, Location Location. A Life in Spain, France or wherever?

Murphy's Law on a Friday night was a cracker....... is there a second series of that?
