what would you do?
Currently I have a work mobile which I will have to give back.
So, do I buy a PAYG cheap as chips mobile here in the UK and just buy a SIM card in Oz...........or buy the whole shabang when out there?
I just dunno what to do 'cos the mobile phone shops ae so complicated.

But make sure your phone is 'unlocked' so you can use it in oz

Ask your work if they would consider selling you the phone. My hubby asked his work and they are letting him have it as a leaving present

I find it much cheaper to get a new SIM when I've gone over to Aus. You can unlock your phone for free if you do an internet search for it. Those who say you have to pay are cashing in.
