What a weekend!
Just back from a weekend on an Island near Cairns. Fan-bloody-tastic. It was so nice to step off the plane and get a bit of warmth - seems like ages that I have experienced real warmth! Saw my first kangaroo on the way to the airport today - however, it was dead on the side of the road!!!!!
Hubbie had to do business (no such thing as a free lunch!) and the partners had massages, hobbie cats, swimming and drinking champagne. That's the life. Could get used to this!
Seems really odd flying for 3.5 hours and still being in the same country as your departure airport!

Hi Vanessa
Welcome back to Mentone!!!!
Sounds fantastic, I could easily get used to that sort of life too. Know what you mean about flying all that way and being in same country, I felt the same when I went to Perth.
