What is a TRA?

What is a TRA?
Ok, this has probably been asked and answered a numerous of times! But what is a TRA, and how do I start to get one? Is it some sort of form that you can get, or is it a process that you follow? Im currently working as an electrician (single and young!), and fancy making the big move in three or four years time. what can I do now, without signing up to anything, or paying any agent. Any ideas on the matter?

Simon, you better start at http://www.immi.gov.au/ here you will find info you will need to get in Oz. Best of luck . TRA is a skills assessment of your Job

Look here at the TRA (Trades Recognition Australia) website, at the pre-migration section. Read if throughly and all your questions about assessment for your trade ae there...
