What time does it get dark?
When we visited the East Coast of Oz last year it was winter and got dark around 5pm. What time does it get dark in their Summer time? I know it isnt as late as here, but hopefully it is a bit later than 5pm!

My understanding is that in Queensland, because they don't have daylight saving time, it gets dark about 7.30 in summer. When we we there in March it was dusky by about 6.30.

I am in Adelaide, the sun has just set, almost dark and it is 8.30pm.

In Mebourne and NSW in mid summer is gets too dark to see about 8.30. latest. By then the midges are biting well
