3500 pounds for 20ft container with Pickfords in January, plus $370 customs fee and then $210 for some stuff going to quarantine and getting cleaned. I sold my car, but others have brought there's and said it has worked out much cheaper than buying.

When I say January it arrived last week, you won't get much more recent than that!

Doree Bonner for me too, 2.5 years ago.

Had a few minor breakages and insurance coughed up without fuss.

4 bed house - 40' container Kent to Brisbane = £6k from memory

Our stuff arrives at Brisbane port tomorrow (am so excited it's nearly here), but we've used PSS £3998 to ship + £300 import tax in Oz, they were very good at UK end, will let you know how the stuff is when gets here though.

Got Britannia coming tomorrow, so I'll let you know... thinking about taking the car this time, and definitely taking the motorbike (OH's pride and joy!)

Just chuck everything into a container or share a container if you don't have enough to fill your own.
All tools have to be spotless, no oil/dirt or you will pay cleaning fee's this end.

Where are you heading, I have an excellent contact in Perth for Auto Techs.
