You receive a letter stating that you are more than likely to be 'accepted' subject to your 'assurer' paying the necessary bond. This is required for certain visas - I only know of Skilled Sponsored and Skilled Designated Area Sponsored - there are others. Once the bond is paid they recheck all paperwork and make the final decision on grant.
