I sent off my 136 visa application form on 18th May, of which the cost has since been deducted out of my CC account. What happens next?
Do I wait for medical/police check requsts?
How long are people waiting for these since application? I'm aware of front loading, but am not in a major rush. Aiming to get there a Aug 2007.
Any info appreciated - thanks

We also sent off our 136 a couple of weeks before you. We have our police check back but haven't been asked to send for our medicals yet
Will keep you updated. Did they not ask you for send off for your police check with your application?

you normally get a request for medicals and police checks together
again as a rule of thumb approx 4 months after its lodged
personnaly i wouldnt front load as it may catch you out
ie if you send off the police checks with your application and it takes say 9 months for the visa to be granted that would only leave you 3 months to get over to aus and validate your visa
12 months max from either the date of your meds or police checks
