What job to do...

Ok I've started looking into moving to sydney some time soon. The only thing I'm not sure on (well right at this moment lol :rofl: ) is what to look at job wise. I gather from other threads that at first it may be just a case of anything so long as it pays the bills but eventually not sure what to look for.
My OH currently works manufacturing pop so not sure if he has skills he can transfer over from there.
I have worked in different types of jobs, currently for my local council as a benefits assessor (which is harder than it sounds) but I've worked in admin jobs and customer services. I'd love (in an ideal world) to work with children but other than coming from a huge family, dont have any formal qualifications.
Can anyone give me any ideas on where to look for both of us?

Errmm, how are you applying to get to Oz? You need to have a job on the SOL to apply for a perm residence in the first place?!
