Hi Guys,

Just wondering if you know what IELTS exam i should take. I am applying for a Skilled Migration Visa under IEAUST: Engineering Technologist in Victoria

Is it Academic or the General Type of IELTS exam?

My understanding is that the General is fine, unless you are planning to undertake further study in Oz.

If you are British you usually will not need to take the IELTS....

Hey thanks a lot for that. By the way how would you guys rate the exam?
Does it require thorough review and what's the difference between the general and academic test in terms of difficulty?

My husband has lived here for over 15 years and is a British cit. but still has to sit the IELTS as its not his first language, although it is now if you know what I mean:scared:

Scarey to know that you can speak English as well as anyone but put someone in an exam situation and it becomes harder.
