What havent you seen in Oz you may have expected to see?
I think for me it would be, the trails in the sky left by Planes...
Ive not to this day seen a trail from an aeroplane, guess it must be upper atmosphere temperature or someat.

A jet's exhaust produces about 1 pint of water for each gallon of fuel and this water is expelled into the atmosphere.
To make a cloud, the expelled water must fall into a temperature lower than the dew point. Thedew point is the temperature to which the water condenses and cloud forms.
I believe that the reason you dont see too many vapour trails in oz (especially in oz) is that the dew point would be quite low and since average temperature decreases 2 degrees celsius per 1000ft, most aircraft would be flying below the dewpoint and therefore no vapour trails would form.
Theres lots more to it than that but thats the basics. If you want more I can dig out my met books

So who else has missed Kerbs - you know the things attached to pavements........
Come on girls when was the last time you drove your husbands car and they said to you "watch those alloys" it just simply does not happen here - so what if you bounce off a roundabout of hit a corner a bit tight - they will never know cause there are no kerbs
