We had an acknowledgement from DIMIA on the 20/5/05 for form 47sk 136 indep. Does anyone know how long it is at the mo until we get a next communication ? I would like to have another child but obviously cannot have an x ray!
Also, what does DIMIA do whilst processing applications ?

You can send your xrays` at the same time as your main app, or in your case any time after. but if you sent it today for example when you get your visa u will have to be in aus to validate your visa within one year of today or poss 6months if they find some thing the needs assessment in your med,.
I believe their is a time limit preggers wise to how many weeks gone you can fly but not sure what that is .
DIMIA should give you med requests around 12 weeks or more but who knows it can change at any time ?
