Its illegal to use MSG in chinese food in Oz due to it being known to cause asthma attacks ......... and pizzas that I love are the ones made by Italians in Footscray and surrounding areas .. the super markets ones both in teh UK and Oz are rubbish and taste of cardboard

Ooh, Sandwich Spread! i get a hankering every now and then, and it cannot be filled...
I miss 'proper' cereal. The Cheerios, Crunchy Nut Cornflakes, Cocopops here etc are all horrible and taste like the cheap knock offs you get back home. Now I eat porridge most of the time anyway so that's fine but occasionally when I want a bowl of sugar for breakfast I'm left sadly dissapointed.
I think that's the main thing, every thing else I wanted/needed (Taytos!) I've found easily enough. Randomly what I miss about London is a good American diner! Can't find one in Sydney at all, anyone know of one??

Out of everyone that says they can't find English bacon(which is usually danish anyway) or decent sausages ever tried really hard to source them. I'd only been here 3 months before I found a butcher's shop with qualified English and Irish butchers working for them. Seriously best sausages I've ever had. 100 different types but if it's just pork you want it's there. Bacon is top notch. And they even do blac k and white pudding.
Not too many decent curry houses but they are there. What I miss is basic cod, chips and curry sauce.

Sandwich Spread? WTF? Easily solved, eat some unidentifiable veg, vomit, mix with salad cream and bobs your uncle. Each to his or her own I guess
