Hi,

When I started posting on british expats I remember making heaps of friends but what ever happened to some of them? How many stayed or went back to the uk?

I suppose most have moved on and are settled in their lives in Oz but it would be nice if anyone knows how they are getting on.

Well, to clear up the confusion I have been posting on here since about 2003/4 went to Oz then moved back to the UK. I pop in and read the post occasionally but couldn't remember my password or what email address I had used, so I registered again hence, Scrawni 2.

Is it just me or is it damn scary that the majority of the people seem to have moved back to the UK??!! I know the grass isnt always greener but what reasons did they have as they must have tried so hard to get there in the first place??!!

Gawd, it says 2002 on that, has it been that long? Bloody hell I need a badge or something for that

Anyway, yes we moved back to the uk (check my update) but we are considering doing the 'pingpong' thingy. We have been back 2 years in March . Alot of water has passed under the bridge since but Oz does seem to be calling me back.

We are happy etc now and I'm not sure why but over the last couple of months I've had an itch that I can't get rid of, now do I scratch it or try to ignore it?

I was quite suprised by how many seem to have returned to the uk though.
