What does it mean when you get a CO?
 
What does it mean when you get a CO? does this mean once you send them the requested paperwork then your in?

If only it were that simple!!! We wish.

Once you send all your paperwork to DIMA, then you wait 'til they acknowledge receipt of your application, then you WAIT 'til they put you in a very long queue........ then you wait and wait and wait (I'm assuming you're getting the picture here?)

Months later they assign you a CO (in no particular order it would seem) then the CO requests meds and police checks and if all is in order - you're in.

That was the abbreviated answer - in reality the whole process is much more complicated but there are loads of really helpful and knowledgeable people on this site willing to guide you. Good Luck!
