I'm off to WA again next month, for 6 months to a year.
I am turning 31 in a week.
My question is: Should I apply for a New Zealand WHV in case I want to check it out/working holiday there for a year after Oz, as I will be near by in Oz.
I can only get a New Zealand WHV before I turn 31.

So primarily, I am going back to Oz next month for the year.
Can't get an Nz WHV after I'm 31, so should I get one before I turn 31 as back up in case I want to do Nz after Oz?

I think I know the answer to this already(no smartness involved comrades)

Keep your options open as long as you can!

I agree. Get it and in one years time if you feel like going to NZ, then if gives you that option.
