Hello all
got a question for all, any feed back would be nice.we have sent our visa application of 5 months ago. and we ask our agent if there was any move in geting our visa. they said to go and do our police checks and get the medicals sorted. as it was about the time we will be ask to do them from the Dima. we are not in any rush to to get to australia as we will be doing a little 3 week holl next year if all is well but the question is do we get them or wait until we are asked by the DIMA as we dont want to rush to much and be told that we have failed before we are asked for them. that would be a wast of money. what do you think

If you're in no rush then I see no point in trying to front load them? You could however phone to make an appt for the meds (there can be a few weeks waiting list) and if come the time of the appt you still havent had the request you could try to reschedule maybe?

If you are feeling doubts about your visa (who doesn't) and you are in no rush, why front load? Medicals can be done quite quickly.

You may want to think about police checks though as they can take a while to come through and only cost £10 each person.
