What did you pay in AQIS inspection fees?
I am not including having anything being destroyed or fumigated. I am more interested to know how much you had to pay in actual inspection fees. Crown include £300 in their quote for inspection fees so I wondered if it actually worked more expensive if you used someone who's quote was cheaper but then you had to pay AQIS. If you get my drift?

Ok, I'll reply! Everyone I asked for quotes told me that no company can cover the AQIS fee because they don't know in advance what it is - it varies according to what is inspected and what needs treatment/destruction.

From memory (2 years ago) - $170 inspection, plus $65 to destroy a hat cos they thought the silk flowers were real

We paid $269 which was charged to us by Kent the company who pick up the stuff from the dock and deliver it.
