What a day today!!! Exchange on the house went thru this morning, booked our dollars (@2.71 - not bad..), booked flights (decided to go east after all with Singapore Air) and resigned all before lunch!!!!

Keep hearing that cheesey disco track "Aint no stoppin' us now...." in my head!!!!

Hi Sophia

We used TTT MoneyCorp for our exchange. Contact is Dominic Le Croissette on 020 7235 4200, we found him extremely professional and helpful.

Mouse, all I can say is.....You lucky B*****D! I feel like resigning everyday, and
normally before Breakfast! On the subject of currency exchange people, I recently
used http://www.ozforex.com.au/ and found them very good (missed out on the 2.7 rate
though, it was 2.6 at the time but Natwest was only offering 2.5). On flights, I used
Singapore a few years back and definitely recommend them. Also used JAL recently and
they were also very good. Good luck with your move, Dean.

Re: What a day!!!

Anon,

Good onya, unknown rodent! Reminds me of a pal at work who got made redundant. He spent the last couple of months sitting with his feet on the desk, studying some DIY plumbing book, telling us all he was going to retire from his high powered exec lifestyle and go for the simple life fixing taps and washers. On his last day we were all down the pub, he was waving a BIG redundancy cheque around (oh, the days of 2 years notice period!) and made an announcement - today he finally got divorced from a long-separated but intractable wife, tomorrow he was marrying his new (but longstanding) girlfriend and flying out to Florida on honeymoon, 2 weeks later he was starting his new job with our biggest rival in an even higher powered exec position. In Hong Kong. Triple whammy and the drinks were on him.

All the best
