What is Canberra like?
I have re-done this as I think I put in wrong place!
Well the title says it all, we may be going to Canberra if we can get sponsored. We are struggling to get a visa and have a contact there who may get me work...the thing is it is about the only place I havn't checked up on. Anyone that has visited or lived there I would be grateful on any advise. We had originally like a lot of people wanted to be fairly neara coast, which is not difficult in Oz! I know we shall be a 2 hr drive away but are there nice lakes or rivers and parklands...it seems thatthere are on the internet blog? I believe the house prices are a bit more too but not as high as Sydney or Perth?
