What to bring on rekkie
Hi just wondered if anyone had any suggestions of what we should bring other than ourselves, clothes (and what type shorths etc. or something warmer), passports and money when we come on our rekkie (arrive 24th March - heading to Rockingham, Perth). Is it worthwhile bringing copies of CV's etc, references. (I am a midwife and other half is nurse)

We didn't take anything apart from normal holidaying stuff, but then we weren't looking for jobs. It can't do any harm to take CV's, references and stuff to leave with potential employers though. We arrive in Perth on the 26th

You can't get things like Medicare numbers until you land permenantly, so don't stress over that. Just pack for a holiday and see as much as you can.
