If you are talking about a student visa then be warned that just having a student visa does not in itself lead to PR. Even if a course at present looks good for getting PR things can change rapidly, as many student visa holders found out this year.
Anyone wishing to study a subject should look at doing it for their future in general rather than specifically for an elusive and intangible promise of PR.

And as for studying something just because it has an easy timetable......I dread to think what replies you will get to that, but I hope they don't get too abusive........

Hi changoo,
Try some courses in medical (like nurses, sonographer, doctors) or computer software professions. Girls handle these professions very well and they are evergreen on skilled migrant list.

However, things may change anytime with Australia immigration as DIAC holds the right to change laws anytime.

There is no particular course renowned as being good for girls who want to get PR in Melbourne.

Why gender specific anyway? Do you mean girls do home economics and nursing whlst the boys do maths and engineering.

From your previous posts I'm wondering if you're hedging your bets, advertising the URLs in your signature, or Smurtaza

Being sure about what country he lives in/intends to live in would be a start.......and as his kids are only little I don't think they stand a chance of getting into TAFE for a few years! They appear to be only 6 and 11 and about to start school in NZ.......

Generally girls do well where kindness is required. Midas touch, soft spokenness, customer handling, etc.. certain operations are meant for ladies

So that's where I have gone wrong- I have been working in the far-too-masculine world of oil.

I will now change career and take up knitting scarves for kittens.
