What is Bacchus Marsh like to live in ?

We are having a look around at different areas commutable to CBD. Does anyone know what Bacchus Marsh is like to live in for a family with young children?

Lots of acreage properties, very dry conditions, quite cheap.

My boss commutes from there daily.

Buzzys absolutely right. It has a lovely country feel (and a FAB Irish pub). I've a friend who lives there and she "adores" it. She says the community feel is lovely. And, when the new Deer Park bypass opens later this year the commute tothe CBD from there will be cut too.
