Default What is an 'Acknowledement of Understanding'?

I am applying for a fiance visa and have just recieved this statement which reads as follows:

ACKOWLEDGEMENT OF UNDERSTANDING

I.........................acknowledge that I have been informed that approval for my settlement in Australia will not guarentee subsequent approval for entry for settlement of......................and that any application for entry for settlement for him/her would be considered on its own merits in the light of the law and policy in force at the time of any such application.

.................................................. ...........................
Signature Date

Can anybody please explain what i am to write in the blanks spaces?
Is this to do with that i have 2 daughters who will not be migrating with me, yet this is some legal document stating that they wont have automatic entry into Australia for them if i am granted a visa?

Is this a good sign i may get granted a visa?

Many thanks
