What about schools in the East Maitland area?
Hi,
We are considering buying a house in this area. ( East Maitland, Thornton, Ashtonfields) Does anyone have any views on the schools?
Which ones are worth looking at?
Which ones to avoid?
Catchment areas.
Any advice would be a great help.

go onto the ofted website and type in the schools name - it will tell you how well the individual school does, which i think for most is important. Wish they had that here in oz. Also go and knock on neighbours doors where you want to buy a house and ask them. We did this when we moved to oz and you learn so much about the area and kind of neighbours you will live near.
Then when you visit, go with your gut feeling and what your kids say about the school.
