We've Exchanged!!!!
WOW- at last we have exchanged on the house. This means I can now hand in my notice at work and and can leave for OZ in mid April. So much to do and so little time, but I am so grateful for the exchange. But am alittle concerned about the doller, but on the other hand I never had that money to begin with.
I just wanted to say thanks for all the support when I thought the house sale was falling through. Really cheered me up when you all left messages. Maybe its all coming together now. And an article was written about me and my lovely husband in one of the popular Australian migration newspapers. So I have my five minutes of fame as well.
THANK YOU!

WELL DONE!!!!!!!!!!!
So pleased to hear your good news, I can go and tell hubby before he sinks deeper into depression. It can go right!
All good wishes, don't know about you but this house selling bit is worse than waiting for the visas!!
Keep us informed how it goes. When do you complete and where are you heading?
All the best
Loopy

I really enjoy reading all the stories of people emigrating.

Thank you all for the lovely messages.
Neil and I are headed to Perth, and plan to leave in mid April. And the migration newspaper is the Australian News. Its the story of the love, marriage and emigration! Very cheezy article but keeps making me smile!
So much to do now, but feel better now that we can actually do these things and not sit around waiting. And yes Loopy, I agree. This house stuff is far more stressful than waiting for the visa, but YOU WILL GET THERE IN THE END. I'm thinking of you.
