We've been here 10 days
and in that time our feet havent' touched the ground. We've sorted out a car - went for new in the end as the second hand ones are almost as expensive. Exchanged our UK licences for Aussie ones, applied for our TFN numbers, registered for Medicare and sorted out a rental for the next twelve months. So its just schools and jobs to concentrate on now - oh and we might find time to chill out a bit too

Tomorrow, we are currently in a lovely holiday let but it is fortunes to stay here so we needed to be in and out within two weeks.

Have you sorted out the rental based on the school you wanted ?
We are hoping to be over in Sydney the same time next year, and am worried
that being the school holidays, we might not be able to get our kids into school
until the term starts again - has this been a problem for you ?
