You would be better asking hands up all Poms not going to Perth its a magnet for the lost tribe of Poms .
The locals are out numbered by the Pom refugees , thankgod the asians and ragheads are evening the numbers out , a town of all Poms thats what you good people are fleeing from I thought?
Some of the suburbs here have more Liverpool and Manchester people in them than Aussies is it fair making such a nice place a ghetto , the up side its got to be improving the UK as a whole it must be empty in the North west.

Gotta love it PB, that's FUNNY. A big smile for an otherwise difficult morning (7 miles in 50 mintues). Yup, the North West is emptying out alright. Tumbleweed everywhere my friend. Even the cones on the M6 are bored, there's hardly anyone left ! Oh, except those 'new arrival' gentlemen with leather jackets and mobile phones, who hang around all day ogling those few remaining northern lasses. Not entirely sure what they're waiting for, perhaps you can come over quick and help out.

You still got that iffy car , I travel 10 miles a day in a much bigger country which is under populated and I have taken as long to travel that distance but I have mates who travel from the North of Perth to the South and take upto 2 hours in rush hour, my wife travels 17 miles and sets off a good hour before.
You are much more libel to be able to walk to work in the UK than Australia and have more places to choose from.
Why not change your route or does the M6 appeal to you I know most woman get lost in their own back yard but get a nice man to read a map for you.

Once again PB you're spot on! My 'iffy' car broke down, I called the AA, but found out they went out of business last November (no members). So, I tried to call my dad, but got cut off as the phone company went bust on me (no NW subscribers). So, I had to walk for 1/2 hour or so to find anyone, but I got lost across the fields - there's very few roads in the NW anymore, they've mostly been reclaimed by nature. M6 ? Mate - how long have you been gone ? It was closed north of Walsall years ago - it fell into disrepair because of lack of use.

Where did everyone go ? And what's the crack about women ? My wife loved it !

Sounds very like Australia loads of big companies going down mainley because the people in charge of them were cons ie Aussies ,in fact the only ones that are getting bigger out here are Brit owned?
Try changing your medication and your car my son did travel 40 miles a day in less time you have 7 miles and right across the Mildlands , then again he did put petrol in the car and could read a map .
Sorry about the lack of roads , are they now used as car parks by women drivers who cannot find there way out of a paper bag?
Always said theres no life above Walsall( is there life in Walsall), so why have roads when half you people are are in or coming to Perth? never liked the AA an RAC man myself , use then here as well they are all over Australia , its the Royal bit I like me and good Queen Betty use them.

Sounds like a bit of Pommie land that might be fit for a bloke to visit for summer. Hope there are no National Trust sites to get in the way of a good view.

Got my woman near perfect trained - found the trick - keep askin' 'em "Next? Left, Right, Centre?" - liable to let minds wonder off to contemplate relationships or somesuch.

PB

What the frig are you on about now ? Better get back here quick - soon they'll be bringing in compulsory english tests for immigrants, and with your illiterate ranting you'll be stopped at customs. Perhaps you can explain you've been in the wilderness for 4 years, been out of touch with civilisation eh ?

9 years with the odd break in the Mother Country , I take that the new laws you want would stop the hoards of Aussies getting into the UK , if thats the case go for it.
