hi all just a quick note to say goodbye blighty and hello aus setting of tommorrow to sleep at the air port then flying on wednesday morning from manchester at 10.00am anyone on this flight say hi and we can share a cuppa (should be easy to spot 20 bags ,kids ,buggies ,travell cot etc etc

Just a quick question.......

When the case officer emails and asks for the medicals... does that mean that they are satisfied with the application??

(our pcc's were front loaded & we know our medicals are fine an on their way - can't wait to jack in work!!! )

I guess that they will not ask us to go to the trouble and expense of meds if they don't think the application is a goer??

Any replies greatly appreciated !

My first overseas posting was Bermuda............I'd never seen a plane close up before yet alone fly on one!

I thought Bermuda was magic and I would have been happy to work there for nothing. We were on tax-free film star wages........... yet talk about grumbling and groaning............. and bloody whinging Poms?

It was isolated................. course it is.............. Bermuda's a 'kin island aint it.............. all islands are pretty much isolated?

It was too hot......... too humid ............ too many Yanks ............ the meat is frozen............ and on and on these Poms went........ actually they weren't Poms over there.......... they were Goddamn Limey M*****f*****s?

Everyone to his/her own............... but in my book; there is absolutely nowt wrong with Australia.............period!
