We're going to take the kids to see Ice Age 2 at the outdoor drive in cinema in Kingsley. We have the car loaded with pillows, blankets, snacks and drinks. The kids are bathed and in their pajamas. It is only going to cost $18 for two adults and one child, free for under 5s. We are all very excited.

Going to see it at our local cinema here in Stroud tonight - it will cost considerably more than that!

Sounds great who will fall asleep first 'daddy or wee one?'........saw ice age 1,it was guff kids thought so too but as long as we were out the house & the kids were happy i didn't mind
For us its x 3 kids ,2 adults = $60 (minus the goodies!)

Its good to get out & at that price i wouldn't complain! enjoy

Donna.

I went to the drive in in Perth somewhere in 1984 with hubby. We went to see the David Bowie film that I can't remember the name of. Unfortunately within about 5 minutes of being there I was fast asleep. Woke up when he started the engine to go home

There used to be a really good one in Forrestfield, but it closed down years ago

We're back. What a great atmosphere. Some people sat in their cars facing forward, others reversed and sat in the boot with the back door open and others sat or lay on chairs or mattresses on the ground infront of their cars. The place was packed. We had to queue to get in. The kids watched their movie then fell asleep so we got to watch the second movie. We'll definitely do it again sometime.

Brilliant, glad you all had a good night and enjoyed. Not a bad place to live eh??? Well, we love it here (but of course in this PC world of BE this is my opinion only!)

Now thats one of the reasons for our move - - -family activities that DONT take most of my wage packet!!!

Glad you got to watch the second film too- - -bet the kids thought it was a huge adventure sleeping in the car and all!!

We nearly did that last night too - it was a two for one thing with Date Movie. But the weather forecast for today wasn't so good so we decided to do Ice Age2 today instead.
