Flight OK, got the extra baggage no questions asked, got through AQIS fine and hotel (Aarons Hotel) good. Just off for some brekkie, a stroll then sort out TFN, bank and some boring stuff.

The Blue Duck was never the same for us after we heard that the shark attack which killed Ken thingamebobby in 2000, was right underneath the restaurant.

Apparently, people were sat up there having breakfast, while the poor bastard was having his leg bit off.

Good to hear that your initial transition has been a happy one. I hope ours is as smooth.
