Has anyone ever posted on here from the actual plane?
I know Singapore airlines have wireless internet onboard, my son was hoping to play counterstrike at 30,000 ft.

Funny you should say that. I was down there a couple of years ago, caught my last wave of the day in on my boogie board, washed up on the shore, got up to find a used sanitary towel on the front of me board, like some bloody mascot. Seriously grim. That said, it's a lot better since they did all the work and moved the sewage out-fall 15 miles out to sea... so now I guess the Welsh get it.

I know that Cathay, who we're flying with this year, do. Read a thing fairly recently about a bloke who used Skype on the plane.

In your opinion would it be better to stop off or go direct if you have young children & it's for a 3 week vacation trip ?

Jetlag does take a while to get over. We found it took about a week and my SIL said that when they emigrated to Oz it was a good couple of months before they could say that they weren't tired at odd times during the day.

Hope everything else is okay fraser?

We were wondering about doing that as well. We have a 7-yr old with ADHD who kept us awake for 5 days on the trot from 3am and then crashed at about 3pm!! We are keen to just relax on some beach somewhere and let him go mad whilst we kip so that by the time we get to Melbourne, we are fresh as daisies

We stopped off in Langkawi. Would definitely recommend the place for a stopover.

Well Bobby has slept through the night, so we should be back on an even keel.
