Hi,

On the scale of 1 (lowest) to 10 (highest) how you all will rate Australia as a welfare state?

Lower than the UK; higher than the US.

I'd put Australia at 5, the UK at 6, the Scandinavians at 8-10, and the US at 3.

Isn't UK is too over crowded now...NHS itself seems to be a joke.

And as you already have a visa to go to the US and are off there for work, can't really see that the welfare arrangements of Australia will be are of much use to you.
