Default Weird Weather Thread!

OK I'm not complaining as I like a warmer climate, but........ what is going on with the weather????? Its the end of October and here in Suffolk it was 21 degrees today. This evening we sat outside until 8pm, eating, drinking and we had to turn the patio heater off as it got too warm! Maybe this is global warming! If it's like this here, how hot will it get down under???

They say that we are in for a cold winter and even snow.

It has been very odd this weather. Im in the bedroom now and need no heating at all.

It is my dream to have snow on Christmas day though.

God knows how I would get to Uni, but snow on Christmas day would be good.

I hate driving in the snow/ice! We had one year (1995) where we were snowed in and 'phew' couldn't get to work! However, the NHS is very resourceful, they sent army lads in landrovers out to collect us! Buggers hey?

You are now qualified to live in Melbourne . Being the sad git that I am, I frequent 'the weather channel' on Foxtel and agree that Perth has been having some very perculiar weather, there have been quite a few days when it's been warmer in Melbourne, I get all excited and tell hubby, "Look, we are warmer today "

I've got a feeling that when summer arrives it's going to be very, very hot.

Seems that all over the world Summer is starting and finishing later in the year. Didn't the fine weather in the UK start around June this year? Here in Melbourne the warm weather hasn't really got going yet. In October 2004 we'd had 7 days of 25C plus temps, this year we've only had 3 so far.

I think I read in The West the other day that scientists are predicting a 60% chance that the summer will be 2-3 degrees hotter here this year. Pity the poor folks at Marble Bar!
