weekly wages
 

hey can anyone help me on a salary of 65k a year incl. super how much would i come out with at the end of the of each week cant find anything about how tax is calculated .

For 65k p.a. (incl super), that would work out at....

1146 gross p.w.
Less approx 244 tax witheld.

Net of approx $902 p.w.

$ 1,146.79 Gross Weekly
$ 242.00 Tax
$ 17.20 Medicare

$ 887.59 Net Weekly (after Tax and Medicare)


On an annual salary of $59,633 the employer should pay a minimum of $5,367 per year into into your super fund.
This adds up to the $65,000 quoted IF it includes super.

For comparison purposes, against quoted average wages etc., your wage is $59,633 per year.
The super contribution, like the UK 'employers' NI contribution, is payable by the employer.
