Default Weekly dollar roundup (from someone else)

Given that the $ is now at 2.47 does anyone have this weeks prediction for the longer term?

Cheers.

I dunno the answer too that but we have sold our house and business and are going at the end of July. I said to OH last night we should check it everyday and then when it hits 2.50 again pay the 5% deposit and reserve the rate.

I read your previous post too about pooping it and I realised we leave 2 weeks after the world cup finishes. We havent even got the visa yet as I only just got our police checks back today. Anyway agent says we should have it by the end of June. I get really worried about settling, money etc but who wouldnt worry!

Sorry for getting off the original topic

Yes...commodoties boom to continue..thereby fuelling the AUD$. This combined with an Ozzie interest rate hike...we should see around $2.20 to the £ by the end of August. :scared:

I remember when we were living in Melbourne in '98-99 it was over $3! If only it would get to that level again when sell the house and move money over....... and then immediately drop to $2.20
