Amazon UK will often be cheaper for buying books evern after postage than buying the same in an Australian bookstore.

Not always the case - I often buy professional books through Booktopia:
www.booktopia.com.au
I have never tried them for fiction or anything though.

Beware with bookdepository that you are ordering the format you want - book or CD.
I have had a few instances recently when I thought I was ordering a book but got a CD.
The last time I checked over and over there was no reference to a CD but it was.
The new site is a lot better in differentiating although they still confuse me by giving you a choice of book versions not just hardback or paperback.
If unsure look at Amazon see who the publisher is/what the front-cover looks like then (usually) order it cheaper from bookdepository.

Cool website!
Amazon is currently running a 4 for 3 deal on books, cd's and dvds. So maybe worth having a look on there if you are after a few things.

The last one I was annoyed about because I was extra careful to ensure it wasn't a CD but it was. I sent it back via 'Return to Sender' but it didn't arrive.
I emailed Kieron (MD) to say it wasn't fair and they are refunding my money and I'm a getting a free book.
The new website is a lot better but I still wish they would just show 3 items per book: hardback, paperback, and CD. A lot of the time you can see the same book with a different publisher or different edition.
Amazing service.
I haven't found the catalogue limiting, though.
