Use the Aussie version of Google and choose to search Australia only

or

Sensis which has links for the White Pages, Yellow Pages, Whereis (for street maps), Citysearch and the Trading Post (classified ads).

or

ANZWERS = Australia and New Zealand Web Enquiry Research System

or

Kangaroo which has links to loads of other sites

or

CSU's (Charles Sturt University) Guide to Australia
