Default Weather in Tasmania in January ?

We're off to Tassie next week for 10 days but not sure what the weather is usually like at this time of year. Various websites say the average temp is about 21 but does it get considerably hotter or colder than this ? Will we need fleece, jumper and jackets as well as hats, sunblock, thongs ?!

Cheers.

Just got back from 10 days in Tassie, so can tell you that yes you will. It may get up in the 20's in the day, but in the mornings and evenings it was getting below 10, and it seemed to take most of the morning to get going. When the sun was out and we were in it it felt very hot, but behind a cloud or in the shade it was still chilly. Don't forget the suns cream even if it feels chilly!
