QLD is more overcast and grey but at the same time being warmer, more humid. One noticeable thing is the lack of wind (yay !) and the fact it stays cooler in the evening-it drops quickly at night in Perth.
But can only tell you what it is like at the moment as only just got here-God I miss Perth's blue skies though. Why did no-one tell me QLD is so grey !??!?!?
Both are very unpredictable i think, climate change happening over here too, so summer is abit weird this year

Perth is a much drier heat but boy does it get hot there for about 2 months in the summer....And stunning...with amazing beaches

Brisbane is humid and hot so it's sticky and the rainy season is the worst...Not nearly as pretty as Perth

But Woodridge is shite all year round.

I'm not that keen on Sanctuary Cove either, for altogether different reasons though ...

There's nothing good to say about Sanctuary Cove, in fact I am of the opinion it's not part of the GC at all. That and Beenleigh

This is freak weather this year Mel.

Wait till February hits.

The cloud is shocking this time of yr, cos of all the heat, and this traps in the humidity.

Hence we have great storms nrly every night.

Bits around Beenleigh are OK, the acreage stuff out towards Wolffdene (or however you spell it) ... can get quite expensive too.

Sanctuary Cove though ... it has a 'British' shop ... say ... no ... more

Beenleigh is a total dump. Surrounding areas are ok. Sanctuary Cove is the most ghastly place I've seen in Aus but I've not been far

Beenleigh is actually typical of small provincial towns throughout Queensland. Its the Goldie which is atypical.
