Yep its a hot one here too in nsw. This is the time of year when you can say goodbye to socks, shoes and long pants for the next 6 months at least.

Probably a hard thing for people in the UK to fathom but quite true !
The worst part is after 6 months of shorts and no socks when it gets cool enough to warrant them they feel absolutely awful on your skin !!

You know how in UK, everyone always said or says , the seasons are shifting ??

I wonder if the same is true of Australia ??

Weve been informed, by a mate whos a farmer, that this summer especially in Brisbane is set to be LONG and very very Hot !!

I thought last year at time was quite hot, its the humidity that gets me.

I have only been back 1yr in the UK nad I think this summer was just brilliant but as the weather guys said we are set for a cold winter..!!! Sign of the times..!!!

Ekkk the humidity is a killer...I can remember feeling like I had just put my head in a fan forced oven..but without the fan!!!

How do the dogs cope??

I think you are right about this summer being hotter than the last here in Brisbane. It has hotted up a lot the last few weeks and is only going to get hotter, I saw the forecast for the end of the week earlier and could feel the sweat on my back already, it is going to be a hot few days at work. I will be working up at Coolum for those few days and outdoors so a quick lunch time dip is on the cards.
